Kids at sports and fitness nonprofit Asphalt Green’s Summer Day Camp helped raise $23,000 during the nonprofit organization’s annual Coins for Campers fund drive. The money raised by campers ages 4 to 13 at Asphalt Green’s Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses will fund summer day camp scholarships for local children whose families do not have the means to pay camp fees. Donations can still be made to the nonprofit via their website: www.asphaltgreen.org/donate
